Germany, Wehrmacht. A Mixed Lot of Award Documents, with Knight’s Cross Recipient Signatures

(Verleihungsurkunden). A mixed lot of three award documents, including one for a Luftwaffe Bomber Flying Clasp in Gold with “200” Pendant, constructed of off-white paper stock with black ink, named to “FAHNENJUNKER-UNTEROFFIZIER ROLF ENGELKE”, an earlier recipient of the German Cross in Gold (20 March 1944), dated 22 November 1944, featuring the handwritten signature of Oberstleutnant Volprecht Riedesel Freiherr zu Eisenbach (Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross, 7 October 1942; with Oak Leaves, 14 January 1945), measuring 148 mm (w) x 205 mm (h), with soiling and a tear to the lower left corner evident, in very fine condition; one for a Luftwaffe Day Fighter Clasp in Bronze, constructed of off-white paper stock with black ink, named to “UNTEROFFIZIER MARTIN WOHLMUTH”, dated 14 July 1943, featuring the handwritten signature of Hauptmann Max Franzisket (German Cross in Gold, 1 April 1943), measuring 148 mm (w) x 210 mm (h), with minor soiling evident, in near extremely fine condition, and; one for a Kriegsmarine Minesweeper War Badge, constructed of off-white paper stock with black ink, named to “MATROSEN HEINZ DÜNNEBACKE”, issued at Wilhelmshaven on 25 May 1941, featuring the handwritten signature of Kapitän zur See (later Konteradmiral) Kurt Böhmer (Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross, 6 October 1940), measuring 210 mm (w) x 300 mm (h), with material fatigue and minor soiling evident, in very fine condition; also accompanied by a Heer Ehrenblatt (Honour Sheet), constructed of off-white paper and featuring names cited for bravery on 19 September 1943, measuring 210 mm (w) x 298 mm (h), with folding creases and some discolouration evident, in very fine condition.
