Germany, Wehrmacht. A Mixed Lot of Uniform Eagle Insignia
(Wehrmacht Adler Insignien). A mixed lot of four Wehrmacht uniform eagle insignia, including a Heer overseas cap eagle, constructed of a dark green rayon, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered silver-grey Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 80 mm (w) x 35 mm (h), overall, with soiling and adhesive remnants from previous display, in very fine condition; a Luftwaffe EM/NCO’s breast eagle, constructed of a dark grey wool, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered silver-grey Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 98 mm (w) x 50 mm (h), in with some mothing and adhesive remnants from previous display, in fair condition; a Kriegsmarine EM/NCO’s breast eagle, constructed of a dark navy blue wool, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered golden-yellow Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 102 mm (w) x 40 mm (h), with some mothing and adhesive remnants from previous display, in very fine condition, and; a Heer Officer’s summer tunic breast eagle, constructed of gilded zink, the obverse consisting of an elongated Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with a barrel hinge and flat wire catch, with a stabilizer emanating from the wreath, unmarked, measuring 95 mm (w) x 35 mm (h), missing it pin and with total loss of finish evident, in poor condition.
