What's a max bid?

(Wehrmacht Teller für Kantine). A pair of Wehrmacht mess hall porcelain plates, including:

 

1. A large plate, constructed of glazed white porcelain, the obverse trimmed along the rim with a green border and gently cascading toward a flat bowl, the base stamped with a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, situated above a date of “1939”, in turn above a mark of “ERLAG, ELBOGEN” for Erste Porzellan-Industrie AG, likely indicating manufacture by Elbogen-based consortium member Springer & Co., measuring 28.5 cm in diameter, with minor, age-appropriate discolouration and scratching visible to the glaze, in near extremely fine condition.

 

2. A small plate, constructed of glazed white porcelain, the obverse trimmed along the rim with a green border and gently cascading toward a flat bowl, the base stamped with a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, situated above a date of “1939”, in turn above a mark of “ERLAG, ELBOGEN” for Erste Porzellan-Industrie AG, likely indicating manufacture by Elbogen-based consortium member Springer & Co., measuring 23.5 cm in diameter, with minor, age-appropriate discolouration and scratching visible to the glaze, in near extremely fine condition.
