A pair of Second War period shoulder boards, including a Heeresverwaltung (Military Administration) officer’s shoulder board, constructed of green and light brown wool layers bearing four rows of twisted and rolled silver aluminum bullion wire, bearing two gilded brass rank pips and a single “HV” insignia, unmarked, measuring 45 mm (w) x 115 mm (l), in very fine condition, and; a Heer (Army) Cavalry/Reconnaissance Leutnant’s shoulder board, constructed of golden yellow wool bearing four rows of twisted and rolled silver aluminum bullion wire, with additional wool flap bearing reinforced buttonhole, unmarked, measuring 30 mm (w) x 100 mm (l), in very fine condition.
