(Erinnerungsmedaille für die spanischen Freiwilligen im Kampf gegen den Bolschewismus). Constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with central shields bearing a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika and a Spanish Falange insingia over top of a sword, topped by a Stahlhelm (Steel Helmet) and a swastika flanked by laurel leaves, the reverse with an inscription of “DIVISION ESPAÑOLA DE VOLUNTARIOS EN RUSIA” (“DIVISION OF SPANISH VOLUNTEERS IN RUSSIA”), above an Iron Cross with laurel leaf branches, unmarked, measuring 32.77 mm in diameter, weighing 13.6 grams, in very fine condition.
