(Pistolenhalfter). A very well-preserved Walther P38 leather holster, constructed of multiple pieces of heavy black leather securely held together with hand-stitching along the outer edges. It is topped by a retractable cover with a slotted magnetic metal eyelet and integral strap. Emanating from the outer side of the holster is a magnetic metal oval with an integral loop, fitting through the aforementioned eyelet and locked in place with the cover’s strap. Stitched onto the edge of the holster is a pouch of identical construction for the accommodation of an extra clip. The back features two integral straps for attachment to a belt, and is embossed with a mark of “P38”, a maker’s code of “CLG”, and a manufacture date of “43”. The interior presents plain.
