Constructed of silvered tombak, consisting of a slightly vaulted Maltese Cross, the obverse with pebbled arms and a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with a barrel hinge and banjo-style pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked with LDO code “L/11” for Wilhelm Deumer, Lüdenscheid, measuring 48.97 mm (w) x 49.05 mm (h), weighing 14.6 grams, demonstrating minor loss of finish to high-contact points, in near extremely fine condition, accompanied by a mis-matched presentation case for an award with Swords, constructed of a light wooden frame with a faux black leather exterior liner, the lid bearing a silvered depiction of the award, the interior with a white rayon lid liner and intact hinge cover, with a slotted black velvet medal bed, closing with a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release, unmarked, measuring 70 mm (w) x 70 mm (l) x 25 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
