What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

(Der Stahlhelm Mitgliedsabzeichen). A Stahlhelm membership badge constructed of silvered tombak, in a circle measuring 30 mm in diameter, the obverse presents a profiled M16 helmet, above whose chinstrap rivet is stamped an Iron Cross and “Der Stahlhelm” in Gothic script, beneath the helmet is two crossed oak leaves above the date “1924,” the reverse shows a hinged, vertical pin, the maker mark “A” and “GES. GESCH.” on reverse, engraved with “IV. No.2621 15.10.24.,” and in fine condition.
