(Ehrenkreuz 1. Klasse des Badischen Kriegerbundes). Constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, vertical pinback, consisting of a Cross Pattée with white enameled arms, with a central medallion depicting a griffin clutching a shield with the Baden coat of arms, surrounded by blue enameled ring with gilt inscription “DEM VERDIENST DIE EHRE BAD. KRIEGERBUND” (“FOR SERVICE TO THE HONOUR OF THE BADEN WARRIOR’S LEAGUE”), maker marked on the reverse “B.H. Mayer, Pforzheim”, measuring 46 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
