Constructed of gilded bronze, the obverse with a raised and finely-detailed Lübeck coat of arms, circumscribed by an inscription of “DER SENAT DER FREIEN UND HANSESTADT LÜBECK” (“THE SENATE OF THE FREE AND HANSEATIC CITY OF LÜBECK”), the reverse with a circular wreath, bearing a central inscription of “DER EHEFRAU MARIE LUISE CATH. SCHREEP, GEB. LÜTH, FÜR TREUE IM DIENSTE 13. NOVEMBER 1923” (“TO THE HONOURABLE MARIE LUISE CATH. SCHREEP, NÉE LÜTH, FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE, 13 NOVEMBER 1923”), the obverse maker marked “G. LOOS F.” for the firm of Berliner Medaillen-Münze, measuring 50.89 mm in diameter, weighing 67.0 grams, in extremely fine condition.
