Germany, Weimar Republic. A Decoration of the Württembergische Landesverein of the Red Cross 25 Years
(Instituted 22 March 1922). A Maltese cross constructed of silver and multi-coloured enamels, the obverse bears white cross arms, the centre bears a red enamel cross on a white enamel background bordered in black enamel with gilt “WÜRTTEMB LANDESVEREIN VOM ROTEN KREUZ” (WÜRTTEMB LANDESVEREIN OF THE RED CROSS), a wreath lay in the four quadrants between the cross arms, the reverse is plain and bears a vertical pinback with a round wire catch, measuring 47.36 mm, weighing 17.1 g, very fine.
