Constructed of silvered bronze with enamels, horizontal pinback, the obverse with a central inscription of “FÜR DIENEN IN TREUE UND EHREN” (“FOR SERVICE IN LOYALTY AND HONOUR”), the reverse with an additional suspension, with an additional inscription of “GESTIFTET VON DER ZENTRALLEITUNG FÜR WOHLTÄTIGKEIT IN WÜRTTEMBERG” (“INSTITUTED BY THE CENTRAL WELFARE MANAGEMENT IN WÜRTTEMBERG”), measuring 39 mm (w) x 39 mm (h), in better than very fine condition.
