(Frontkämpfer des Weltkrieges Erinnerungsabzeichen). Constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central German national eagle overlaid by a Stahlhelm and crossed swords, circumscribed by an inscription of “FRONTKÄMPFER DES WELTKRIEGES 1914-1918” (“FRONTLINE FIGHTERS OF THE WORLD WAR 1914-1918”), the reverse marked “D.R.G.M.”, measuring 46 mm (w) x 54 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
