Germany, Wiemar Republic. A Prussian Protection Police (Schutzpolizei) Officer Buckle & Belt
A fine example of a Freistaat Preussen Schutzpolizei officer’s belt and buckle; the buckle constructed of of gilt nickel; the obverse depicting a central pebbled field with a raised Prussian Style eagle, circumscribed “Freistaat Preussen” in large capital letters; the reverse dated “1931” and “F & L” on the reverse; complete with its receiver and catch; measuring 49 mm in diameter; the belt constructed of thick leather, with a smooth black upper and a natural coloured reverse; with an additional leather tab with seven rows of two vertically oriented holes for length adjustment of the belt; marked “Croupon R.H.Z.106” on the tab; measuring 43 mm (w) x 120 cm; in overall better than very fine condition.
