A steel semi-sharpened centre ridge type magnetic blade with dual edges, the ricasso bears the number “699” and a partial strike maker mark with a push button release, a flat cross guard with downturned quillons (the right quillon is stamped with the Hungarian crest on the reverse) with a left-facing eagle with outstretched wings on the obverse and vertically fluted on the reverse, the grip is constructed of black fluted ebony, the pommel is an eagle head constructed of gilt metal, the scabbard is constructed of gilt metal and features a large Hungarian crest on the upper obverse with the name “Vezerornagy Makray Sandor” inscribed on the upper reverse, a mixture of fluting, stylized feathers and different sized beaded bands are featured throughout the scabbard and tapers into an elongated rounded ball at the end, bears two eyelets with hanger rings and accompanied by a dagger hanger constructed of brown woven fabric with two buckles and single clip, measuring 250 mm, total length of dagger (including grip) 350 mm, very fine.
