Layaway Policy

eMedals INC. is pleased to offer flexible layaway services to all clients. Our layaway program offers the opportunity for clients to make payments on eligible items over a period of three (3) months.

A minimum deposit of 30% of the total price of your order including all applicable taxes and Buyer’s Premium, is due at the time of initial purchase. The total price of your order must be paid within three months from the date of original purchase.

You may make additional payments at any time by accessing the Layaway section in your account or by calling our office and submitting payment details.

Your contract will be automatically cancelled and ordered merchandise will be returned to inventory if full payment is not submitted by the three (3) month deadline.

Payment methods include; Cheque, Wire Transfer, Paypal, or Credit Card.

What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

Your entered maximum bid will not be disclosed to the seller or other auction participants at any point.

Max bidding example:

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

If no other participant places a bid, you win that auction lot for $101 dollars.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

2. Australia: Australian Commonwealth Military Forces Cap Badge: in bronze, Melbourne maker marked on the reverse, measuring 61.2 mm (w) x 43.5 mm (h), both lugs and pin intact.

3. Austria: Jubilee Commemorative Medal 1898 "Signum Laudis": in bronze gilt, measuring 34.3 in diameter, original triangular ribbon with hook and eye.

4. Belgium: First War Commemorative Medal 1914-1918: in bronze, measuring 31 mm (w) x 67.5 mm (h), three bars affixed to its original ribbon.

5. Bulgaria, People's Republic: Medal for the 25th Anniversary of People's Power: in bronze gilt, measuring 34.2 mm in diameter.

6. 1st Canadian Armoured Carrier Regiment Cap Badge: in bronze, unmarked, measuring 36.3 mm (w) x 43.7 mm (h), both lugs intact.

7. Chile: Mission Accomplished Medal (Mision Cumplida): in silvered bronze, measuring 38.5 mm in diameter, original ribbon suspended from a hanger with pinback.

8. Italy: Diving Bombers Group Badge: in silvered metal, measuring 42.5 mm (w) x 31.5 mm (h), horizontal pinback.

9. Korea (Republic, South Korea): War Service Medal: in bronze, measuring 32.5 mm in diameter, original ribbon with pinback.

10. New Zealand: 10th Regiment, North Otago Rifles Cap Badge: in bronze gilt, maker marked "J.R GAUNT" on the reverse, measuring 41 mm (w) x 38.5 mm (h), both lugs intact.

11. United Kingdom: two 1939-1945 Stars: one in bronze, measuring 38.2 mm (w) x 44 mm (h), original ribbon; the other in bronze, plated, measuring 38.5 mm (w) x 44.5 mm (h).

12. Yugoslavia, Socialist Federal Republic: twenty-eight items:

(i) two Orders for Bravery: in bronze gilt, numbered "142978" and "142879" on their reverses, measuring 39.5 mm (w) x 42 mm (h) each, original ribbon, mounted to a five-sided metal suspension with pinback.

(ii) Yugoslavia, Socialist Federal Republic: Medal for Bravery, Type II (1945-1991): in bronze gilt, measuring 37 mm in diameter, original ribbon, mounted to a five-sided metal suspension with pinback.

(iii) Medal for Bravery, Type I (1944-1945): in bronze gilt, measuring 36.3 mm in diameter.

(iv) Medal for 30 Years of Victory over Fascism: in bronze gilt, measuring 35 mm in diameter.
