What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

If no other participant places a bid, you win that auction lot for $101 dollars.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

A mixed lot of six medals, including three Prussian Red Cross Merit Medals, with one III Class and two II Class Medals, each constructed of bronze, the latter two with red enamels, on loops for suspension from period original ribbons, all unmarked and measuring 33.08 mm in diameter, in overall near extremely fine condition; a German Red Cross (DRK) Sister’s Cross, constructed of silver with multi-coloured enamels, on loop for suspension, consisting of a Cross Pattée, the obverse bearing a central white enameled medallion overlaid by a red Geneva Cross, within a circular oak leaf wreath,the reverse marked with a silver content number of “800”, measuring 50.11 mm (w) x 54.45 mm (h), weighing 17.4 grams, in very fine condition; an Austrian General Campaign Medal of 1873, constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original tri-fold ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised rightward-facing profile of Emperor Franz Joseph, circumscribed by name and title, the reverse bearing a central wreathed date of “2. DECEMBER 1873”, unmarked, measuring 36.12 mm in diameter, weighing 23.5 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in near extremely fine condition, and; a Hungarian War Commemorative Medal, constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original tri-fold ribbon, unmarked, measuring 37.02 mm in diameter, weighing 24.4 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in extremely fine condition.
