International. An Unidentified Byzantine Cross Religious Decoration
A breast star of an unidentified church award, constructed of gilded bronze with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of an eight-pointed radiant star, overlaid by a white enameled Lateran Cross, in turn bearing a blue enameled Geneva Cross, the reverse with two visible rivets securing in place the obverse features, with a block hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 84.93 mm (w) x 83.47 mm (h), weighing 81.2 grams, cracks are visible to the enamels at the nine and twelve o’clock positions, in overall better than very fine condition.
