Two-piece construction, in bronze gilt with blue and white enamels, illustrating the conjoined busts of Reza Shah and the Mohammed Reza Pahlavi, a mountain in the distance backed by a sunrise with emanating rays, framed by an open-ended wreath composed of two branches of laurel leaves, with the date from the Imperial Persian calendar "2535" (March 21, 1976 - March 20, 1977) below, measuring 36.7 mm (w) x 50.5 mm (h), intact enamels, traces of gilt remains, original ribbon with safety pin attachment, near extremely fine.
