In blackened bronze, obverse illustrating the flags of the United Kingdom, the United States and France, surrounded by the inscription "FREEDOM DEMOCRACY PROSPERITY", with a maker's mark above a five-pointed star at the base, reverse illustrating the Roman Coliseum in the foreground, the dome of St. Peter's Basilica in the background at the right, dated "JUNE 4TH 1944" above, surrounded by the inscription "IN THE FIGHT FOR LIBERTY THE ALLIES SAVED ROME", measuring 36 mm in diameter, near extremely fine.
