National Fascist Party "PNF" (Partito Nazionale Fascista) and Fascist Leisure and Recreational Organization "OND" (Opera Nazionale Dopolavoro) "Day After Work" Medal (in bronze gilt, obverse illustrating a man in a tank top in the foreground, a woman in a full-length dress in the background at the right, a large fasces at the left, inscribed "P.N.F." and "O.N.D." above and "1° GIORNATA DOPOLAVORo", reverse inscribed "Reggio Calabria Gioja Tauro 21-4-XVII", measuring 23.5 mm (w) x 39 mm (h) inclusive of its two suspension loops); and "Two Peoples - A War" Unity Badge (in bronze gilt, obverse illustrating the left-facing bust of Benito Mussolini, reverse inscribed Italian "DUE POPOLI - UNA GUERRA" and in German "ZWEI VÖLKER - EIN KRIEG" (Two Peoples - A War), with the blade of a fasces at the upper left and a swastika at the lower right, measuring 24.5 mm (w) x 27.7 mm (h) inclusive of its integral suspension). Very fine.
