A silver heraldry cross with wreath and ribbons between the arms, the obverse centre bears the Luxembourg coat of arms, an Eye of Providence appears above the coat of arms and below are two hands shaking, the 9 o’clock arm inscribed with “JAHRIGE”, the 12 o’clock arm inscribed with “XX”, the 3 o’clock arm inscribed with “DIENSTE” and the 6 o’clock arm inscribed with “1882” (20 YEARS OF SERVICE 1882), an axe head sits between the 9 o’clock and 12 o’clock arms and the 12 o’clock and 3 o’clock arms, the ribbon between the arms read “VERBAND LANDES FEUER WEHR” (COUNTRY FIREFIGHTER ASSOCIATION), the reverse is plain, with suspension ring, measuring 37.47 mm (w) x 41.44 mm (h), weighing 19.1 g, very fine.
