What's a max bid?

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

In silver gilt with green and white enamels, measuring 42.7 mm (w) x 74 mm (h) inclusive of its wreath and laterally-pierced ball suspension, chipping evident in the white enamels on the reverse of the star point at 4 o'clock, slight age discolouration and spotting in the white enamels overall, original ribbon, better than very fine.

Footnote: The Malagasy Republic was a state situated in Southeast Africa. It was established in 1958 as an autonomous republic within the newly created French Community and existed until the proclamation of the Democratic Republic of Madagascar in 1975.
