Footnote: The Silver Jubilee Medal (Midalat al-Iwabil al-Fazi) was instituted by King Hussein on August 11, 1977, to commemorate the twenty-fifth anniversary of his accession to the throne. It was also awarded for personal and meritorious services to the sovereign and thus given precedence far above ordinary commemorative medals. It was awarded in a single class. (C:50)
