What's a max bid?

(AKA Supreme Order of the Renaissance) Jordan; Type II; Multi-piece construction, silver gilt with red, green, white, yellow and black enamels, maker marked "G & Co Ld" (Sebastian Garrard), hallmarked with an anchor (made in Birmingham), the British lion and date marked "o" (1949) on the reverse, 58.8 mm x 96 mm inclusive of its crowned flag suspension, on its original full-length neck ribbon with hook and eye, intact enamels, extremely fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, maker marked "GARRARD & Co Ltd" on the inside lid, lightly soiled raised platform with recessed medal bed, case near extremely fine.
