What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

(Neshaan-e shir o khorshid). Instituted in 1808. In silver, a five point star with clusters of seven heavily faceted rays, each cluster is separated by a green enamelled ray, a suspension is present at 6 o’clock, the obverse medallion features a handpainted standing lion holding a sword, with a sun with a human face on the yellow background behind the lion, the medallion is surrounded by a ring of large facets, a small crown sits at 12 o’clock, the reverse bears a thin single pin, measures 61.6mm (w) x 60.4mm (h), weighs 21.9 grams, the 6 o’clock green ray is missing enamel and is covered in a green lacquer, dark patina on the rays, hinge and catch functional, in overall very fine condition.
