Instituted in 1922. Hardshelled design on both the lid and base, with a red pebbled cloth fabric exterior, the bottom covered in black paper, the inside of the lid lined in white satin, padded and maker marked "ROTHE & NEFFE WIEN / K u. K. KAMMER-JUWELIERE", a white cardboard insert placed within the base and housing a raised platform with a recessed medal bed in black velvet, push latch closure, the lid supported by two cloth straps, measuring 74 mm (w) x 143 mm (h) x 30.5 mm (d), light soiling and wear evident on the exterior, case near extremely fine.
