What's a max bid?

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

Silver, octagonal-shaped and surmounted by the Pahlavi crown, obverse illustrating the national lion and sun insignia, surrounded by an open-ended wreath of laurel leaves, reverse inscribed in French "POLICE de SÛRETÉ ESTRABAD" (Estrabad Security Police) and number stamped "1064" below the corresponding inscription in Perso-Arabic above, 36 mm x 54 mm, integral loop, light contact and surface wear, better than very fine.

Footnote: Gorgan is a city in north-east of Iran in Golestan province. It is the second most populated city in northern Iran and the center of Golestan province. The present day Gorgan used to be called Estrabad or Astrabad until 1937.
