Iran, Pahlavi Dynasty. A Token for the Occasion of the Iranian New Year (Nowruz) 1349 (1970)
(سکه یادبود به مناسبت سال نو ایرانیان). In .900 silver, reeded edge, obverse illustrating the left-facing conjoined busts of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi (AKA Mohammad Reza Shah) and Queen Farah, dated in Persian "1349" (1970) below, reverse with an inscription in Persian framed within an open-ended wreath composed of branches of laurel leaves and oak leaves, surmounted by the Pahlavi crown, measuring 36.3 mm in diameter, very light contact, in a clear plastic packet, better than very fine.
