What's a max bid?

Iran, Pahlavi Empire. An M1898 Mauser Rifle Bayonet

This bayonet features a 398 mm long steel blade, magnetic, with a semi-sharp blade and a semi-sharp tip, the fuller running almost the full length of the bayonet on both sides, the ricasso unmarked. The blade is embedded into the heavy steel crossguard that is designed with a ring at one end for placement upon the barrel of a rifle, the other end terminating in an oval-shaped point, wooden plates embedded onto either side of the handle and held in place via two large screws penetrated by rivets, the steel pommel with knob and mortise slot to receive the rifle, the pommel marked stamped in Persian (Farsi) "ت۳۰۰" (T300) and surmounted by the Persian crown on the end, the bayonet measuring 530 mm in length overall. The bayonet is housed in its magnetic metal scabbard, the end point finished in a ball finial, the throat secured in place by two rivets, with a u-shaped bracket affixed to the reverse, the scabbard measuring 410 mm in length. The blade exhibits scratches overall, common to extraction and return to the scabbard, along with some surface wear, chipping and contact marks evident on the wooden plates, multiple contact marks on the end of the pommel, the scabbard with multiple contact marks and rust spots present.
