In silvered and gilt bronze with green and white enamels, measuring 43.8 mm (w) x 62 mm (h) inclusive of its wreath suspension, intact enamels, spotting evident in the gilt on the reverse, original ribbon with dual prong pinback, near extremely fine.
Footnote: The Order of Civil Merit was instituted on June 25, 1953. It is awarded for service to the state or to the 'Arab cause', in five grades: Excellent Class, 1st Class, 2nd Class, 3rd Class and 4th Class.
