Instituted in 1926. Type III (1945-1970). Three-piece construction, in silver gilt with red, white, light blue, green and yellow enamels, number engraved "855" on the reverse, measuring 52.2 mm (w) x 52.7 mm (h), screwback, intact enamels, extremely fine.
Footnote: The Order of the Red Banner of Military Valour was instituted in 1926 as the Order of Military Valour. It was re-named in 1931. It was awarded for military services and for strengthening the armed forces of the Republic.
