What's a max bid?

United Fire Brigades' Association Long Service Medal (in silver, obverse illustrating a standing fireman with a hose in his hands, flanked by shields and the letters "N' and "Z" (New Zealand) on either side, inscribed "UNITED FIRE BRIGADES ASSOCIATION" above and "AUXILIUM IN PERICULO" (Power in Danger) in Latin on the ribbon banner below, reverse engraved "KAIAPOI / VOLUNTEER FIRE BRIGADE / BOROUGH COUNCIL AWARD / TO / Branchman J. Winterbourn / FOR FIVE YEARS SERVICE / Joined Sept. 20th 1880", swivel suspension, measuring38.2 mm in diameter); and Rowing Champion Fours Medal (in silver, straight-armed cross, obverse engraved "L R / 1886 / CHAMPION FOURS / Won by / CURE, B.C. / J. WINTERBOURNE / Stroke." with a band of ornate design on each arm, blank reverse, measuring 38 mm (w) 38.5 mm (h)). Edge nicks on the UFBALSM, light contact on both, better than very fine.
