109th Infantry "Victoria and Haliburton Battalion" Officer's Shoulder Titles - Browning copper, unmarked, inscribed "VICTORIA / 109 / HALIBURTON / CANADA", 25 mm x 47.5 mm, intact lugs, better than very fine.Footnote: The Battalion was raised in the Victoria and Haliburton Counties of Ontario with mobilzation headquarters at Lindsay under the authority of G.O. 151, December 22, 1915. The Battalion sailed July 24, 1916 under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel J.J.H. Fee with a strength of 35 officers and 775 other ranks. In England, the Battalion was broken up and absorbed into the 20th, 21st, 38th and 124th Battalions. It was disbanded on September 15, 1920.
