A silver plated Victorian shoulder belt plate, with minor staining otherwise very fine. A wreath of maple leaves surrounding a Maltese Cross, in the centre of the cross a circlet bearing “Aduance”, in the void centre the numerals “43”, below wreath a scroll bearing the regimental designation “Ottawa and Carleton Own Rifles”, all surmounted by a Victorian Crown.
