Footnote: The Battalion was raised and mobilized in Winnipeg, Manitoba under the authority of G.O. 151, December 22, 1915. The Battalion sailed September 19, 1916 under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel G. Campbell with a strength of 32 officers and 965 other ranks. In England, the Battalion was re-designated the 107th Pioneer Battalion and served in France in that capacity. It was disbanded on September 15, 1920.[C:17]
