Canada; Browning copper, voided, maker marked "ELLIS BROS TORONTO" on the reverse, 46.5 mm (w) x 58 mm (h), intact lugs and pin, green oxidation evident on the obverse, near extremely fine.

Footnote: The Battalion was raised and mobilized in Toronto, Ontario under the authority of G.O. 151, December 22, 1915. The Battalion sailed August 9, 1916 under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel A.A. Miller with a strength of 32 officers and 1,078 other ranks. In England, the Battalion was absorbed into the 12th Reserve Battalion. It was disbanded on September 15, 1920.
