LEES & CO." and "CRICHTON'S MOOSE JAW" on the reverse, 40.3 mm x 47.6 mm, horizontal pinback); and two Collar Tabs (pickled copper, maker marked "CRICHTON'S MOOSE JAW" and "GEO. H. LEES & CO. 1916" on the reverse, 30.8 mm x 32.5 mm each, horizontal pinbacks, exhibiting different shades). Light contact, near extremely fine. Footnote: The Battalion was raised in Saskatchewan with mobilization headquarters at Moose Jaw under the authority of G.O. 69, July 15, 1916. The Battalion sailed April 18, 1917 under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel H.D. PIckett with a strength of 17 officers and 426 other ranks. In England, the Battalion was absorbed into the 15th Reserve Baatalion. It was disbanded on September 15, 1920.
