Your entered maximum bid will not be disclosed to the seller or other auction participants at any point.

Max bidding example:

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

If no other participant places a bid, you win that auction lot for $101 dollars.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

A First War Canadian 42nd Battalion Officers Uniform

This uniform is composed of 6 distinct elements: First, the tunic is fitted with Guant & Sons Black Watch of Canada buttons, all unpolished and hand sewn in place. Also included are 6 shoulder pips, CANADA shoulder flashes, and C 42 collar dogs. The tunic is fitted with hand sewn service strips, four in total. On the left sleeve, there are 4 distinct holes for 2 wound stripes. The interior, it is clearly worn with sweat soiling. There is significant wear in the underarm regions. Importantly, on the interior pocket, a Pope & Bradley label states: No: 8160(7?) Date: 26 9 18, Geo (F?) Johnson. French made suspenders, retaining their elasticity, and well marked. The trousers are solid, with soiling on the interior, only two moth holes and buttons labelled WM. Anderson & Sons Edinburgh. The boots have retained their shape, the leather is supple, and show obvious wear, and are labelled Goodrich as well as WD stamped. The officers canteen show mothing but is solid. The binoculars are made by L.Petit, Paris and are in working condition. With small ammo pouch, and trench map case, both very fine. Overall, this rare uniform remains in very fine condition.
