Canada; Gilt cooper, voided, maker marked "CARON BROS. MONTREAL 1918" on the reverse, 41.5 mm x 47.5 mm, light contact and surface wear, near extremely fine. Footnote: The Canadian Ordnance Corps had the task of supplying, equipping and outfitting the entire Canadian Corps during the First World War. The insignia was produced over a long period by many makers. The badges worn by the Corps during the First World War originated prior to this period.
