Replacement ribbon, suspension has been re-attached, edge nicks, light contact, very fine. Footnote: Private George Albert Ashbaugh is shown on the roll of the 27 man Mount Pleasant Infantry Company (38th Battalion) and is listed on page 215 of the "Canada General Service Medal Roll, 1866-70" by John Thyen, entitled to the Fenian Raid 1866 clasp. He is documented as having been posted to Paris, Ontario from June 2 to 22, 1866, for special duty, posting for the reserve base and interior line of communication. His name is misspelled as "Ashbough" in the Fenian Raid records. He is also acknowledged has having been a recipient of the North West Canada Medal while with the Winnipeg Light Infantry.
