Footnote: Private Peter Jesner is shown on the roll of the 34 man Cornwall Infantry Company and is listed on page 167 of the "Canada General Service Medal Roll, 1866-70" by John Thyen, entitled to the Fenian Raid 1866 clasp. He is documented on the roll of the 59th (Stormont and Glengarry Infnatry) Battalion as having been posted to Cornwall, Ontario from March 8 to July 23, 1866, with an "attack daily expected".
