What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

British War Medal - Royal Highlanders of Canada - (414414 A.L. CPL. W. HEENIE. 13-CAN.INF.). Naming is officially impressed. Very crisp detail, polished, light contact, better than very fine. Footnote: William Heenie was born on August 28, 1894 in Sydney Mines, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. He signed his Attestation Paper on April 30, 1915 in Sydney Mines, stating that he was not married, that he had no previous military service and that his trade was that of Miner. The Battalion was raised in Quebec and Nova Scotia with mobilization headquarters at Camp Valcartier, Quebec under the authority of P.C.O. 2067, August 6, 1914. The Battalion sailed October 3, 1914 under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel F.O.W. Loomis with a strength of 45 officers and 1,112 other ranks. The Battalion served in France and Belgium with the 3rd Infantry Brigade, 1st Canadian Division.
