Canada; Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Overseas Clasp; War Medal 1939-1945; and Efficiency Medal with Canada Scroll (SGT. A. BARRETTE R. DE Q. (MIT.)). Naming is officially impressed on the EM, the two Second World War medals are un-named as issued. Mounted to a ribbon bar suspension with swing bar pinback, as worn by the veteran, original ribbons, the EM ribbon on the ribbon bar with a silver rosette, the EM and WM ribbons transposed on the ribbon bar, very light contact, near extremely fine.

Footnote: E74506 Corporal J.M.A. Barrette, Le Régiment de Québec (Mitrailleuses) was awarded the Efficiency Medal with Canada Scroll, under provisions of the Royal Warrant on September 23, 1930 and General Order No. 3 of 1932, as published in the Canada Gazette, on February 2, 1946, page 515.
