A First War Canadian Medal Trio to Military Medal Recipient - 1914-15 Star (47632. PTE. H.E. WINTER, R.A.M.C.); British War Medal (47632 PTE. H.E. WINTER. R.A.M.C.); and Victory Medal (47632 PTE. H.E, WINTER. R.A.M.C). Naming is officially impressed, with a raised comma replacing a period after the "E" on the VM. Un-mounted, original ribbons, dark patina on the BWM, gilt wear on the VM, light contact, better than very fine. Accompanied by copies of his Index Cards, indicating that he was awarded the Trio and the Military Medal. Footnote: Harry E. Winter, 36th Field Ambulance, Royal Army Medical Corps (Battersea) was awarded the Military Medal for Bravery in the Field, as mentioned in the Supplement to the Edinburgh Gazette 13290, page 2497, on July 18, 1918 and in the Journal of the Royal Army Medical Corps of August 1918, page 43.
