What's a max bid?

A WWI Memorial Group to the 2nd Canadian Battalion - British War Medal (172422 PTE. W.L. MORRISON. 2-CAN.INF.); and Victory Medal (172422 PTE. W.L. MORRISON. 2-CAN.INF.). Naming is officially impressed. Court-mounted, dark patina on the BWM, light contact, near extremely fine. Accompanied by his Memorial Cross, GRV (172422 Pte. W.L. MORRISON), very dark patina, in its case of issue; Memorial Plaque (WILLIAM LISTER MORRISON), in its cardboard package of issue; and framed Scroll (inscribed "Pte. William Lister Morrison, Canadian Infantry Bn."), also near extremely fine.Footnote: William Lister Morrison was born on July 12, 1897 in Trenton, Ontario. He signed his Attestation Paper with the 83rd Infantry Battalion "Queen's Own Rifles" on January 24, 1916 in Toronto, Ontario, naming his next-of-kin as his mother, Hilda Morrison, stating that he had no previous military service, that he was not married and that his trade was that of Teamster. Morrison was transferred to the 2nd Infantry Battalion in the European theatre and was Killed in Action at the Battle of Passchendaele (Third Battle of Ypres) on November 6, 1917. He is remembered with honour on the Menin Gate (Ypres) Memorial, Ypres, Belgium, Grave Reference: Panel 10-26-28.
