Un-mounted, very dark patina on the BWM, light contact, near extremely fine. Accompanied by a CEF For Service at the Front Badge (bronze and enamels, numbered "137083" on the reverse, 22.5 mm, screwback); and a Canadian Corps Reunion Toronto 1938 Badge (bronze and red enamels, maker marked "C.E. CLENDENNING TORONTO" on the reverse, 22.2 mm x 22.7 mm, screwback), the badges also near extremely fine. Footnote: Frederick Wideman Bryan was born on October 10, 1890 in Toronto, Ontario. He was a resident of Toronto, Ontario when he signed his Attestation Paper at the No. 2 Overseas Army Service Corps Training Depot in Toronto, on August 17, 1916, at the age of 25, naming his next-of-kin as his mother, Esther Bryan of Toronto, stating that he had three months' previous military service with the Canadian Officers' Training Corps as a Private and two weeks with the Governor General's Body Guard as a Sergeant, that he was Single and that his trade was that of Clerk.
