A First War Pair to the Canadian Railway Troops - British War Medal (1081677 SPR. A. GREEN. C.R.T.); and Victory Medal (1081677 SPR. A. GREEN. C.R.T.). Naming is officially impressed. Very crisp detail, dark patina on the BWM, unmounted, better than extremely fine. Footnote: Arthur Edward Green was born on September 28, 1899 in Dartford, England. He signed his Attestation Paper on July 6, 1916 at Montreal, Quebec, stating that he had three months previous military service with the 148th Regiment, that he was married to Bessie Fisk Green from Brownsburg, Quebec and that his trade was that of Machine Operator. His paper was stamped at the top " No. 1 Construction Battalion".
