What's a max bid?

British War Medal, in silver, full size, rim impressed CAPT. R. HOME, lovely patina and minimal wear, worn on replacement ribbon, in extremely fine condition.

Victory Medal, in bronze gilt, full size, rim impressed CAPT. R. HOME, accompanied by a section of ribbon, very minor wear, in extremely fine condition.

Memorial Cross, in silver, reverse engraved Capt. R. HOME, marked STERLING on 6 o’clock arm, lovely patina, minimal wear, in extremely fine condition.

 

Footnote: Robert Home was born on December 29, 1890 to Robert and Sarah Home in Toronto, Ontario. He attended school at Lansdowne, and graduated Harbord Collegiate in 1908, entering the Varsity Medical College of Toronto University in 1913. Home enlisted in 1914 and was appointed to the RAMC in October 1915. In February 1917, he was sent to France to oversee the No. 75 Sanitation section. During this time, he served with the 107th Field Ambulance, 35th Division, while also acted as a Medical Officer to Artillery and Infantry units. He participated in the Somme and on the Arras front prior to returning home for a brief leave. Upon returning to France, he joined the 18th Field Ambulance. On April 21, he was in the front line near Loos while temporarily attached to the 18th Field Ambulance. The following day, he was leaving the aid post with his Colonel and both were killed when a shell struck.
