91st Princess Louise's Argyle and Sutherland Highlanders of Canada Shooting Medals - Senior Champion Shooting Medal (silver, hallmarked and marked "STERLING" on the reverse, obverse illustrating the 91st insignia surrounded by the engraved inscription "PRINCESS LOUISE'S A. & S. HIGHLANDERS OF CANADA 1935", reverse engraved "SR. CHAMPION SGT. W.J. WOODS", 29.8 mm); and Senior Indoor Championship Shooting Medal (silver, maker marked "THOMAS FATTORINI LIMITED BIRMINGHAM", marked "F" (Fattorini), hallmarked with the British lion, an anchor (made in Birmingham) and date marked "H" (1932), obverse illustrating the 91st insignia surrounded by the inscription "PRINCESS LOUISE'S A. & S. HIGHLANDERS OF CANADA" and engraved "SENIOR INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIP" above and "1933" below, reverse engraved "WON BY W.J. WOODS" above a rifleman lying on his stomach, inside an open-ended wreath of thistle branches, the wreath bow-tied at the junction of the branches, 25.5 mm). The latter medal with a dark patina, both medals with Arygll and Sutherland tartan ribbons fed through their ring suspensions, light contact, near extremely fine.
